Chose the Max for its luggage pass-through and stowable sternum straps; one-bagged it for five days at CES with a 16in MacBook Pro and iPad Mini and fit it under a Southwest seat, though heavy loads are fine only for short walks.

“I have an Able Carry Max. Did a lot of research and settled on it for 2 things: luggage pass through and stowable sternum straps. The subtle branding and minimalist”

Chose the green Max over the Peak Design after trying both; it does not stand on its own and he never uses the pass-through, but he rides a motorcycle with it and loves it.

“I went thru same process but also tried the peak design bag. It was too big. The able carry doesn’t stand up on its own which I didn’t like but”
positive

Pretty happy with the green Max: fine for EDC and fits 3-5 days with cubes, heavy but sits comfortably, though the X-Pac scuffs a bit.

“I’ve been pretty happy with the Able Carry Max (green). It works fine for EDC and can fit 3-5 days worth of stuff if I pack efficiently and use cubes.”

Happy with the blue Max so far, comfy if the harness is adjusted, fitting a hoodie, two cubes, tech pouch, bottle and a 16in MacBook; found some X-Pac scratches.

“I'm happy with it so far. However, I still can't figure out the best way to use all the pockets yet.”
positive

Owns the Max and calls it an absolutely brilliant bag, preferring its look to the TP3 despite paying hefty customs charges.

“I have the exact same bag which I imported into the UK and paid equally extortionate customs charges. Despite that, it’s an absolutely brilliant bag”
positive

Loves his Max, great when he does not need to bring a camera.

“Love mine. Great when I don’t need to bring a camera.”
positive

Owns the Max but does not use it because at 1.7 kg it is a bit heavy and the capacity small, though it is a beautiful bag.

“It’s 1.7 kilos To me a bit heavy and capacity is a bit small Yes I own one but don’t use for the above reasons Beautiful bag tho”

Got the Max after worrying about the internal bottle pocket and has been loving it.

“I did end up getting it! Been loving it so far”

Owns the TP3 and the Max 32L and prefers the Max: sleeker, better organization, expandable, and fits under the seat if not stuffed.

“I have the tp3 and the able carry max 32L. Hands down the able carry. Much more sleek. Bigger bottles easily fall out during travel with the aer when I”

On day one of a five-day weekend with the Max 32L, it comfortably fit four days of clothing, a light jacket and a very full dopp kit, with good pockets.

“I got one just a few days ago and I'm on day one of a 5 day weekend with it. It comfortably fit 4 days of clothing including a light”
positive

Finds the Max great with comfortable straps even fully loaded, beefy handles and a luggage passthrough, though it needs packing cubes and the laptop compartment is tight.

“Able Carry Max has been great for me, very comfortable straps even when fully loaded, with nice beefy handles and a luggage passthrough for easy handling. Probably want some packing”

Chose the Able Carry Max and is very happy with it; used it for all his work trips and it has held up very well apart from one tiny bit of stitching, with the one complaint being the internal water bottle storage.

“Yep went with the able carry. Can't give you any feedback on relation to the other bags I was considering but I'm isolation I am very happy with the bag.”

Just got the Max for traveling: super well built, very comfortable even fully packed, with only the crinkly X-Pac noise to note.

“It’s super well built. I don’t mind the crinkly sound of X-Pac so it’s not a deal breaker for me. Very comfortable to carry even when it’s fully packed out.”

The Max continually impresses him: sleek for work trips, holds a ton, works as a large everyday bag, and is so comfortable you could put a small car inside.

“Their Max backpack continually impresses me. It is sleek for work trips”
